Theft preventer alarm

This circuit utilising a 555 timer IC can be used as an alarm system to prevent the theft of your luggage, burglars breaking into your house etc. The alarms goes ON when a thin wire, usually as thin as a hair is broken.http://www.electronic-circuits-diagrams.com/alarmsimages/3.gifThe circuit is straightforward. It uses a 555 IC wired as an astable multivibrator to produce a tone of frequency of about 1kHz which gives out a shrill noise to scare away the burglar.
The wire used to set off the alarm can be made of a thin copper wire like SWG 36 or higher.
You can even use single strands of copper form a power cable.

The circuit operates on a wide range of voltages from 5V to 15V.
The speaker and the circuit could be housed inside a tin can with holes drilled on the speaker side for the sound to come out.

555 Timer Touch Activated Alarm Circuit Diagram

This is the circuit diagram of touch activated alarm gadget which still activated on load shedding.\r\n Alarm device can be activated when any person touch the “touch plate” \r\nwhich is referred to as trigger. In this circuit the most up to date part is automatic\r\n battery activator which is made with the help of a relay. So don’t upset on load \r\nshedding you alarm gadget is activated. This circuit will be used at \r\nyour residence door, locker, car or steel gate and many others.

Simple Shadow Detector Alarm

This is also known as Sun up alarm, in this circuit you can set the LDR’s sensitivity by 100k potentiometer, you can set it with any lamp around your room (tube light, bulb, LED etc) by varrying the 100k potentiometer. We can also control the buzzer time by 1M potentiometer

You can Enhance this project and set the sensitivity of the LDR with a lazer light and keep it on the way of any door circuit at one side and lazer at other side of the door and a then you can make this project to buzz as soon as some one enters in a room

I personally set this project in my room with sensitivity of tube light and whenever i came in and turn my room’s tube light on

Drinking Water Alarm

The State Jal Boards supply water for limited duration in a day. Time of water supply is decided by the management and the public does not know the same. In such a situation, this water alarm circuit will save the people from long wait as it will inform them as soon as the water supply starts.

At the heart of this circuit is a small water sensor. For fabricating this water sensor, you need two foils—an aluminium foil and a plastic foil. You can assemble the sensor by rolling aluminium and plastic foils in the shape of a concentric cylinder. Connect one end of the insulated flexible wire on the aluminium foil and the other end to resistor R2. Now mount this sensor inside the water tap such that water can flow through it uninterrupted. To complete the circuit, connect another wire from the junction of pins 2 and 6 of IC1 to the water pipeline or the water tap itself. The working of the circuit is simple.

Drinking Water Alarm

Timer 555 is wired as an astable multivibrator. The multivibrator will work only when water flows through the water tap and completes the circuit connection. It oscillates at about 1 kHz. The output of the timer at pin 3 is connected to loudspeaker LS1 via capacitor C3. As soon as water starts flowing through the tap, the speaker starts sounding, which indicates resumption of water supply. It remains ‘on’ until you switch off the circuit with switch S1 or remove the sensor from the tap. The circuit works off a 9V battery supply. Assemble the circuit on any general-purpose PCB and house in a suitable cabinet. The water sensor is inserted into the water tap. Connect the lead coming out from the junction of 555 pins 2 and 6 to the body of the water tap. Use on/off switch S1 to power the circuit with the 9V PP3 battery.

Burglar Alarm Using LDR and BC 548

Description

Circuit showing a Burglar Alarm. Here we have used a ldr and a switching transistor for making this circuit
.When the light coming towards the ldr during the period the ldr have low resistance so the buzzer will on.When the light going away the ldr during the period the ldr have high resistance so the transistor will off. Here you need a 12 volt power supply

 Components Required

      Resistor

                   10 k(preset)

      Transistor

                   BC 548

       LDR

        Buzzer
